1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quad ("the App," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

Quad is a social platform that helps college students connect with other students at their school before and during their time at university. The Service allows users to create profiles, browse other students, send messages, join group chats, and discover campus events.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old and currently enrolled in or accepted to a college or university to use Quad. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@quadapp.co if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Quad, including photos, bios, and messages. By posting content, you grant Quad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or impersonates another person
• Is harassing, threatening, or abusive toward other users
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence
• Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Promotes illegal activity

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from other users without their consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to access or interact with the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Quad does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quad and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
